A space that would connect us with other like-minded people and allow us to not only bounce ideas off one another, but have the possibility of forming partnerships as well.” A space that would be open and accessible to every skill level and a variety of different mediums. Where education and free learning can happen along side of each other.

MICHELLE ORGAN / CO-FOUNDER / OWNER

Michelle holds a BA in Art History from Queen's University as well as a BFA in Product Design from Parson's The New School for Design, in Manhattan. This education, along with multiple design internships, led her to pursue work as a freelance designer. After freelancing for a few years, the need for community and access to a creative space led her to open The Shop with co-founder Marissa Gordon. She currently splits her time between The Shop and her personal ceramics line, Mima.
