Come learn the art of wood carving.  During this three-part workshop, you will be shown all the steps involved with carving a wooden spoon, including choosing the right hand tool, understanding wood grain, gauging out the centre, and learning how to finish your piece.

Session 1 (Jan 5 6:30-9:30): designing and cutting shape

Session 2 (Jan 12 6:30-9:30): hand carving

Session 3 (Jan 19 6:30-8:30): sanding and finishing

Great for all skill levels.  No previous woodworking experience required.
