Join textile artist Bree Zorel for a workshop in the art of sashiko, an ancient Japanese mending technique. Bring your own denim and practice the creative possibilities of this meditative patchwork technique. Fix up your rips and tears, or simply embellish and reinforce any garment you have in your closet that could use a pick me up. Learn about the historical and contemporary applications of sashiko while mending your own clothing in a cozy group setting.
All other materials provided, including needle, thimble, thread and fabric.
