ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Katherine was exposed in designing and garment construction at a young age through her mother a professional seamstress. With the guidance of her mother, Katherine took those classic teachings and combined them with modern function to create accessories that reflect her free spirited personality.  House of Knot, previously SS&Co.  launched as an accessories brand in 2010 specializing fashion forward knitwear. In 2015 the brand launched its first line of ready to wear fashions. Today the highly texturized abstract knits have gone beyond function and have become the foundation of the brand, with each season pushing the boundaries of knitwear and transforming the fashion landscape.
