In this introductory embroidery workshop, each student will have the chance to stitch a canvas tote bag featuring 1980's WWE Wrestlers.  Choose from character outlines such as Macho Man, The Ultimate Warrior, Koko B. Ware and Hulk Hogan.  An introduction to embroidery stitches will be covered with the majority of class time spent working on your piece.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Stacey Sproule is an artist and musician based in Toronto, Ontario. Her work revolves around ideas of self-healing and often involves the use of knitting, embroidery, and other tactile techniques. She is strongly influenced by collaborative and performative processes. She holds a BFA in drawing and painting from OCAD.
