About the teacher:

Emily can attest to the fact that she spent many years of her childhood crouched over a tray of tiny beads. Traveling at age six with her family, her first visit to Kenya started a love affair with handmade jewellery that would last a life time, hopping from beads, to metal work, traditional glass enamel, to an indulgence in gemstones and diamonds

A sworn lover of the ocean, flowers, biology and science, her early designs of oceanic and biological inspiration have become her signature. She also loves Art Deco designs, which historically called upon patterns of ancient decoration, both natural and architectural.

When commissioned to work in precious metals, Emily enjoys the journey with clients of developing bespoke jewellery to mark the most precious markers in their lives, the start of new beginnings and special achievements.
